Arise Queen

Hey Queen! Sitting over there. Yeah! You with the blank stare. Why do you look so dismayed with that look of pain on your face? Hold your head up, because your crown has tilted and no need to sit bewildered. A Queen like you must know that you are Royalty, a chosen generation from now

Hey Queen!

Sitting over there.

Yeah! You with the blank stare.

Why do you look so dismayed with that look of pain on your face?

Hold your head up, because your crown has tilted and no need to sit bewildered.

A Queen like you must know that you are Royalty,

a chosen generation from now to eternity.

I came to remind you of who you are.

Not defeated but a shining star.

Don’t let life bring you down

And sit there with a tilted crown.

Hold your head up with grace and finesse for you have overcome the worst of it.

I came to shine he light on your truth which is you are more than what they say of you.

The way you walk is so elegant,

And the curve in your hips speaks of your strengths.

Carrying around the pain of the old,

won’t take away from the fact of who you are.

A Queen indeed, and if I might say you excel them all.

The journey you traveled speaks of the battles you’ve won.

So hold your head up and straighten your crown.

Because you are one of a kind.

Allow no one to deter or demeanor you,

because the Queen in you speaks to the souls of the ancient landmarks.

Truly, you’re the eight wonder undiscovered thus far.

So arise and dust off defeat.

Get up because your best days are ahead

And never allow your crown to tilt from your head.
