Happy Monday! Lately, I have been struggling to adjust to all the changes I have made in the past month like, health, new place, and I am now fully self employed again. It’s scary, but I refuse to fail, which is why I personally looked into the following tips. Plus I am dealing with a sick child today and one who can’t seem to get up on time in the mornings to save his life. Anywho… enjoy the tips.
Plan to be productive.
Everything begins with a thought. Start with your end game in mind. See yourself being productive this week.
Start planning your calendar the week before.
Glance ahead to your following week so you can be better prepared. If you plan to practice this tip, it’s suggested you have a plan together for the following week by Thursday or Friday of the current week.
Learn to say no.
You already have a to do list. Don’t get bogged down or derailed by the requests of others.
Focus on a single task.
Multitasking can leave us with more on our plates (or desk) than we realize. In our minds we may think we are doing a great deal, but in reality, nothing has hit the completion mark. Focus on a single task, and see it through. Sometimes completing it renews our spirit to do more.
Complete is better than perfect.
