I always tag my post #tapintoagoddess as if to say learn more about me, take a look at my life and the people and things important to me, plug into something greater.  Some don’t agree with men and women calling themselves gods and goddesses, but notice the lowercase “g”. If we are made in his image, then how are we not gods and goddesses? It’s not blasphemy, it’s a higher consciousness.

And yet even with our higher sense of self we struggle the same as everyone else. To outsiders it’s further proof of us “only being human” otherwise we would use our gifts. I even wondered myself on the matter. Then I recalled watching Marvel movies, in particular “X-Men”. Remember the school was to help the mutants learn and develop their powers. Initially it was too strong for them to handle, but they would learn to control it.

I think it is that way for us as humans/little gods and goddesses. We must learn to control the gifts we were born with. Oftentimes we try to hide or dim our lights, because we are more focused on our flaws. We see ourselves as mutants, because we don’t appear to be the same as everyone else, failing to realize we are the gifted ones. Our uniqueness is needed in the world.

And in in actuality, we each have our own amazing gift. It’s about tapping into our core being, our higher self, knowing who you are- your higher purpose, and operating from there.

As for me personally, I would also like to note that I am still nothing without Him. I would not dare think to place myself any higher, but I am very much aware of who I am.

Have a great weekend.
