Learn more about Dannielle below.

Fancy: How would you describe your swagher? What makes Dannielle, Dannielle?

Dannielle: I would describe my swagher as indescribable, lol. It’s a mixture of my confidence, determination, and poise that gives me my swagher.

What makes Dannielle, Dannielle? I would have to say the obstacles I have been through make me the person I am now. I wasn’t always this person that people see, talk to, and enjoy being around. Dannielle wasn’t always as confident on the inside as she is. She had a hard shell that appeared confident, but she was broken on the inside.

Fancy: What inspired Budgeting2Banking?

Dannielle: Budgeting2Banking came about when I was on the verge of separating from my ex-husband. During that time, I didn’t have any idea how I would make ends meet for my two children. I was illiterate to the financials necessary to keep a family a float. So, I began to take financial, psychology, marketing, and economic classes. I then compiled a system that would help me to start building generational wealth for my children. Once I saw what works, I vowed to help individuals who were just like me get to where I am now. Hence, starting Budgeting2Banking Financial Literacy Firm. I believe it all starts with the knowledge of finances. If you don’t have the knowledge and foundation of finances, you revert back to where you were.

Fancy: Have you always been wise with money?

Dannielle: I now invest more in myself and my other businesses. I have found it to be more rewarding to learn how to make my money make more money.

Fancy: How does one develop a prosperity mindset?

Dannielle: It’s funny you asked this. One of the first things I teach my clients, is Money Mindset. Before we go on to how to develop a prosperous mindset, we focus on their Money Story. Your money story is how you correlate with money based on your past. I always share my money story with my clients first, so they don’t feel like I always was where I am currently. So once they share their money story, we start to discuss ways to reprogram what they tell themselves now. I have them start with daily wealth affirmations, meditation, and journaling. These three things can change your mindset from negativity to positively feeding your hardwired brain.

Fancy: Please share (2) budgeting tips with our readers.

Dannielle: These tips are more focused on the readers changing their mindset. If one doesn’t change their mindset, budgeting will never work.

Tip 1: Discipline

Budgeting requires discipline. If you don’t have this, you will not stick with your budget. Budgeting is more about you telling your money where to go than you trying to figure out where it went. You must be disciplined with telling your money what to do.

Tip 2: Change your mindset

Positive feeding to your brain is the ultimate way to start your financial journey. Wake up in the morning and say positive daily affirmations that will gear your mind up for receiving wealth and the positive effects from it.

Fancy: What is your “go to thought” when you are trying to decide to purchase something or not?

Dannielle: I always ask myself, Is this necessary for my everyday living? Can I wait until I have saved especially for this item to purchase it? Will it harm my family’s financial well-being if I purchase this right now? If I answer these questions and it can wait, then I wait.

Fancy: Do you have any upcoming events or projects that you care to share?

Dannielle: Yes, I am doing a Lunch and Learn Financial Literacy Tour in 5 cities. Lafayette, La. Is my first stop on July 27th from 12:30-2:30 at the La Madeleine’s Café. You can check the website www.budgeting2banking.com for the other stops.
