I love mornings, but I have a love-hate relationship with Mondays. While I see it almost as a fresh start, it also means it is time to start or go back to work. I feel like we live in such a busy time, the weekends are my mental getaways. Though I am still usually working, weekends allow my brain time to just idle and thoughts to roam freely. Anyway, back to Monday, if you suffer from Monday blues or simply are not a morning person, here are 3 tips for a good morning.
Take the time to map out your day the day before. Know your priorities and be intentional.
Drinking at least 16 oz of water as soon as you wake up not only helps to hydrate you, but it also fuels your brains and gets your metabolism going.
Take a minute.
Get up early enough to allow a little time in the morning to yourself. You can use this time to work out, read, pray, or meditate. Maybe you want to take a quick minute and write out what you are thankful for.
