New Year, New Love

As we enter into the year 2017, it brings with it brand new possibilities of a fresh start, the proverbial clean slate.  What I love about the beginning of a new year, it feels like an opportunity to create new life, new memories, and a new love.   This year I put a demand on love, not only of the romantic persuasion but in mankind as a whole.  The expectations and demands that I put on love, I also require that I am the start of this new beginning.  The theme for my 2017 will be “new”, a new way to approach situations and love might I add.

The new year brings a new love slate and in my life I want that page to be so colorful that others become excited and encouraged.   Each color will represent something different, red will be passion, pink will represent intimacy, purple will represent power (strength of my love), you get where I’m going with this.  Love should paint a picture of your life, and no one’s portrait should be the same, because it should be made up of all the things that are you! I want the gentleness and kindness that I show to others to be several colors such as white and yellow.  However, the color black would represent the times that I wasn’t my best in any of these areas and there will be some black on my new slate, because I am human, but I want the black to be the least expressed in my love portrait of 2017.

Allow this New Year, 2017, to be one of your best years of showing love to your spouse, children, family and friends.   Love those who are difficult to love, for that is the greatest outward expression of love.  This year don’t live in regret or the past because those former things have passed away.  Make a conscious effort to intentionally show someone else love.  Remember, love is an action word, and this is a new year, with unlimited possibilities.  Love in color!
