After Trump won the election last Tuesday night, Pamela Ramsey  Taylorthe director of Clay County Development Corporation posted the following on her Facebook page.

“It is so refreshing to have a classy, beautiful, dignified First Lady back in the White House,” she wrote. “I’m tired of seeing a [sic] Ape in heels.”

The mayor of Clay, Beverly Whaling, commented on the post saying, “Just made my day Pam.”
Apparently she didn’t realize hers and Taylor’s statement would cost them their jobs after an online petition calling for them to be removed from office.

The post was deleted and Whaling issued a public apology but both have been relieved of their positions.
