Dolphin’s Arian Foster Announces Retirement Through “Uninterrupted” Statement

Miami Dolphins Arian Foster announced his retirement yesterday via Uninterrupted.com. 
In a statement published on their website Foster starts his announcement with “Their comes a time in every athlete’s career when their ambition and their body are no longer on the same page…” Foster shares a story and then says he knows it’s not common to announce retirement midseason but says his body can’t take anymore. He then talks of his love for the sport and thanks football for the lessons learned. See below.


Foster, who was a running back, holds the Texans franchise records for rushing yards and rushing touchdowns. In 2009, he was drafted by the Houston Texans as a free agent. He remained with until last year. Upon leaving
