My Favorite 3 Moments From the VMAs

The VMA’s had many twists last night. Some performances gave us life, some-well we were expecting a little more, but the 3 things I enjoyed the most were:
Beyonce’s performance:

I mean- of course we all were waiting for it, but only God knows why or how Beyonce can slay the way that she does. I personally also enjoy watching the synergy around her, knowing that is s big part of her success.

Rihanna’s victory dance (online footage):

Rihanna twerking backstage after receiving her Vanguard award- loved it! When you live on your own terms and are still able to receive a Lifetime Achievement award at 28, you have a right to be able to twerk in a “bomber jacket/ ball gown combo by Alexandre Vauthier Couture with major Yeprem diamonds” ( y’all know I looked that up, totally foreign).

Kanye West’s “Fade” video premiere: Kanye West’s “Fade” video debut featuring Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpertz. The Flash Dance choreography had me like “Yass” but Teyana’s body and the life it gave the moves- was more like “Yassss girl yasss!” I had to get the song, and I danced almost until I fell asleep last night, so now I love the song too. Kanye also once again proved he is an artist wearing many hats.

What were some of your favorite VMA moments last night?
