Going somewhere, sandy bring baby powder.

The sand can be removed with baby powder, due to the warnings now out about the talcum in store bought powders, you may want to make your own natural powder,. You can find a DIY tutorials  here or here.Al one needs to do is apply the powder to the areas you would like it removed from and the powder will consume the moisture in your skin.

Sew pockets in your towels.

Now obviously it is only going to look as good as your sewing skills are, but  adding pockets to your towels is a great way to keep up with your belongings and decreases the chances of ruining them with sand.

Bring your own water and snacks.

We all know things can be overpriced while on vacations. Bring your own snacks and water, lots of water, because you need to keep hydrated.

Use old containers to hide your valuables.

Old household containers can be used to hide your valuables, for example lip balm containers  for jewelry and money and/or old food containers and bottles for bigger items.

Bring your own lock.

That’s pretty straightforward, bring your own lock as opposed to having to buy or rent one for storage places.

Keep your phone in a plastic bag.

You know how important your phone is. It often is our main way of communication filled with contacts we don’t know by heart as well as most keep their itinerary and credit card information there. Protect it! Keep a ziplock bag handy to place items like your phone and earbuds or earphones in.

Think positive, spread positivity, and relax. We all need a vacay sometimes. Go into the situation with a positive mindframe expecting a great time and creating one.
