Former cop and serial rapist, Daniel Holtzclaw was convicted on 13 thirteen counts of first-degree rape allegations. Holtzclaw, 28, who was an Oklahoma City policeman, was originally charged with 36 counts of rape, forcible oral sodomy, burglary and other charges.

Apparently Holtzclaw used his position to take advantage of the women during random stops. In July of 2014, a woman in her fifties reported being attacked as she drove home after a dominoes game. Holtzclaw was fired by the OCPD two months later. In another instance, a seventeen year old girl said Holtzclaw initially groped her during a search for drugs, but then he his pulled clothes down and raped her.

The defense argued the credibility of the women because many of them were drug addicts or had a criminal record. Fortunately the police were able to confirm their stories by Holtzclaw’s GPS and records. Supporters for the survivors sang Happy Birthday to Holtzclaw as today was also his birthday.

Sentencing will take place next month in January. It says Holtzclaw burst into tears upon hearing the verdict.
