Wednesday Wonder Woman: Ash “AshBreezy” Brown

How would you describe your swagher?

My swagHER is a natural essence that cannot be described. It’s often imitated but never duplicated. I’m an original! No carbon copy here. I’m not afraid to branch off and go the unpaved route.

What type of events do you enjoy emceeing most?

I enjoy being the emcee at an array of different events. I’d have to say that weddings are my favorite. I consider it an honor to be considered for their very special day.

Do you find it harder to get more gigs as a woman and why or why not?

I definitely feel that what I do is taboo. That makes it a little difficult to get consistent work. When I tell people about my niche, many are reluctant because they haven’t seen me on a major network or heard me on their morning drive.

While radio led to your emceeing and hosting, many women have chosen adult entertainment as their route to both. Care to share your thoughts on the two paths?

I feel that everyone has a choice in what they do. It’s none of my business why people make the choices they do. Nor do I pass judgement on those that choose a different route. We all have free will to do whatever we want. No one person should say one path is right or wrong. We make the choice that’s best for ourselves.

What do you attribute to the success of your brand?

The success of my brand is the result of prayers from my ancestors, a belief in a higher power, positive energy people and hard work! None of my success was over night.

What is one obstacle you had to overcome in your career and how did you overcome it?

The biggest obstacle that I’ve had to face is dealing with the passing of my mom. She was my #1 cheerleader! She supported me through thick & thin. Even when she thought my ideas were a lil unconventional, she never once discouraged me. It’s a daily battle dealing with her absence. I was fortunate enough to have her for 30 glorious years on earth and no one person could ever make such an impact on me.

What can attendees expect from the Women’s Empowerment Breakfast?

Attendees for the 3rd Annual Women’s Empowerment Conference can look forward to inspirational stories to encourage their dreams, diverse vendors from across the metro area, free breakfast, of course my smiling face!

Do you have any upcoming projects you would like to share with us?

I have a lot of new projects in the works. Please stay tuned to for all updates.

Please share a few words of inspiration for our followers.

The words of wisdom that I’d like to leave are believe in yourself first. There will always be obstacles, trials & tribulations. Get used to it! You will fall. Just don’t stay on the ground. Dust yourself off & show the world how to do it best!
