ATLANTA, GA (August 25, 2015) – Over the weekend, longtime industry music veteran and Grammy Award-Winning singer and songwriter Q Parker of 112 and his wife, Star of Big Rich Atlanta Sharlinda Parker have redefined the celebration of love by powering the 1st annual A Night With My Lady Soirée. This move by a power couple in the entertainment industry shed light on the purpose, importance and celebration of renewed love, faith and commitment to one another.
The event hosted by Toni & Griff of the Toni and Griff Show with Michael McFadden kept the audience of over 150 guests in their seats filled with laughter and rejoicing on their purpose driven in coupledom. Guests arrived to the Shirley Massey Conference Center on the campus of Morehouse College to a pre-reception red carpet mixer with sounds provided by DJ Fadelf, a gleaming 2016 Audi A6 sponsored by Jim Ellis Audi, silent auction and hors d’oeuvres delights. The main event featured an opening performance of ‘At Last’ by 16-year old singer Tyler Royale.
The evening featured a dedication and commitment to positive relationships and an exceptional speech by guest speaker James Hoyle. The hosts kicked off the evening with live giveaways from one night hotel stays, to couples massages, workout and photography sessions to Bedroom Kandi special gifts throughout entire evening. Q Parker alongside Michael Southern kicked off the sign-ups for the evening beneficiaries Brothers United and Brother2Brother Organizations geared towards mentoring and empowering young males in the areas of fatherhood, health, wealth and social skills. Q and Sharlinda Parker shared an acknowledgment and testament of overcoming obstacles in a relationship and keeping steadfast to their commitment, love and faith as the glue to keeping their relationship intact. We are certain to hear and see more development with this testament that they hope will help other couples facing adversities nationwide. All guests joined hands front stage and shared multiple dances to the live sounds of the Jukebox.
