rsz_img_1296 While there is so much to find and do online, I have been working to find more time to both get out and meet people and read. Last week, I completed Lillie Mae’s The PR Code which I thought I was a great read not just for those interested in public relations but also anyone interested in business or branding.   Lillie Mae Williams, also known as Lillie Mae, is the president of the Lille Mae PR Agency, a boutique firm specializing in PR, media, branding, and event initiatives. Mae’s first book, Glambitious has evolved into both a power circle and magazine. rsz_img_1297   The PR Code’s launch was held in Atlanta at the B. Loft. The event was nice and hosted  a panel of other celeb and well known publicists, Christal Jordan, April Love, Jonell Whit, and Aisha Albritton, who gave their views on public relations and branding.  All women stressed the importance of PR, but they also stressed being realistic and putting in work.   The book itself was a quick, straight to the point read. From public relations to event planning, Mae shares insight. I most enjoyed her “10 Creative Exposure Tactics”, which was more toward the end of the book. The tactics were simple and “do it yourself” but as both a publicist and editor, I agree that they were also attention grabbing.       Order your copy at  LilleMaePR.com.   -Fancy
