Serenity’s Closet Announces Model & High End Designers Casting Call

It’s that time again. Serenity’s Closet in conjunction with Q95.5 and 104.7 is hosting the 2nd Annual Hub City Fashion Extravaganza June 20, 2015, in Lafayette, LA. The event will showcase prominent to intermediate designers and vendors from Louisiana as well as other neighboring constituents such as Dallas, Atlanta, and Mississippi.   It will also include 100 of the most beautiful models who will rip the runway in the styles of our featured boutiques and high end fashion designers.

Serenity’s Closet Talent Management was created to assist women and men in recognizing one’s true beauty. In every person there is a gift, but many don’t realize the true gift is “YOU”. The business allows individuals to privately or publicly obtain image makeovers, modeling and acting opportunities in an industry that has set high expectations on what beauty is.

Last year’s event was a big event for the area and served as a stepping stone for those pursuing careers in the fashion and entertainment industries. “Last year, so many models’ careers took off just from being in this show, and this year I have a special guest,” Serenity’s Closet founder and the show’s organizer Carla Baker says. Quad Clothing (Designer Indrea Brown) whose fashion has been premiered in almost every high end fashion show from her hometown of Lake Charles to NY, California, and Miami with opportunities to Italy and Spain. Plus sized fashion boutique, DZire Boutique, and Gthree Concepts (designer Gege Joshua Gilzene III) are also being featured.
