Leaders in Lipsticks and Carol’s Daughter hosted the ultimate boss babe girls’ night in New York City last week with their Pamper Party. As soon as we walked through the door, we were greeted by beautiful women dressed in all black, looking sleek and chic, with a warm aura about them. I’m talking major faces beat, nails did, hair conditioned and glammed by Carol’s Daughter.
The other guests and I were encouraged to unwind in the makeup chair and nail station. We laughed and bonded while there, effortlessly sharing fun stories from our past. There was a real sense of sisterhood in the air. Towards the back of the salon, the walls were decorated with inspirational quotes that move you to get in touch with your inner goddess along with a bar area, where we were happily greeted by the bartender. We were invited for a drink of the new Birthday Cake liquor made with wine. How could you turn away? Seriously cake, wine, and no major calorie intake- pure GENIUS! The drink alone tastes like cake batter- loved it! Definitely can see PrettyFULL creating yummy goodies with Birthday Cake so stay tuned!
Right next to the bartender were some homemade jello shots by Koffi’s Jello Bar (can we say hello Jello??) with a sign that read “What’s your flavor?” How could one resist? Feeling like Rick Ross, diced pineapples was the chosen flavor. It was delicious with real fruit filling throughout the Jello. YUM! The texture of the pineapples meshed well with the Jello shot, and you could definitely taste the liquor.
Then it was raffle time! For two dollars, you could possibly receive a beautifully, charmed out, bracelet with different shades of green from La Bella Morenita. There were also various treats around the mini bar for the ladies to indulge in while they waited for their nails to dry.
Naté Jones, founder of Leaders in Lipstick and Carols Daughters ambassador, was also chic in all black with a classic bold red lip as she strutted her stuff around, assuring her guest we’re being well taken care of. She was completely lovely with grace and style.
This charity event was created to pamper hard working women and encourage them to take a moment to take care of themselves, something most women don’t do though we should. The message was clear: you come first, once you feel 100% then you can give 100%.
There was so much glamour and beauty in the air at the Leaders in Lipstick Pamper party that every woman who attended felt and looked like a Queen. The ladies left revived, relaxed, and ready to take on the New York City Streets. This event really showed you how to #livelifeinstyle.
