Long story short, many Caucasian people took to Twitter to share their personal law breaking experiences with the police and how they got off to show that yes, the world so  many Black activists and leaders are constantly “complaining about” or “bringing up” does exist. While some may have used the hashtag to boast, some say it may possibly the biggest conversation about race and white privilege that we have ever had. Either way, it was an eye opener for many. I read tweets from other whites, saying how they did not realize how often such took place or that they even took place.

While I know from personal experiences that there are double standards, I must say I was still appalled by some of the things I read, many times thinking of people I know and love going to jail, if not prison for the same offenses. I screen shot those I found most shocking and those that I know many of us or someone we know have experienced with different outcomes.

As always, I want to know your thoughts, so feel free to tweet me @FancySwagHer.
