A Choice Ruled By Your “Why”

Every morning when you arise you have two options, be empowered by yesterday or be defeated by yesterday. The option you choose will also lay your foundation of today and set your course for tomorrow. It is sometimes a difficult task to be empowered when your yesterday did not go so well, but you must ask yourself, “Is it worth my joy for today?” Oftentimes we make bad decisions. The good news is, it’s a lesson learned, but  the bad news is, you’re more than likely to make another one. We just want to find happiness in this world, and for alot of us that happiness also consists of money, and there is nothing wrong with that, just don’t find yourself money motivated. Some dreams and aspirations naturally come with money attached to the end result because let’s face it, we all need money to live comfortably.
I have tested the waters of many ventures some of them were just not for me, and some of them I thought I could MAKE for me. But alas if your heart isn’t in it, it’s just a stumbling block or a stepping stone; depending on whether you’re a glass half full or a glass half empty type of thinker (we’ll talk about that later). The most important factor we must take into consideration is, “is this something I really want to do?” Be honest with yourself. Doing things that are not conducive to your long term end time result is just counterproductive and will leave you feeling hopeless until you bring back to the forefront your “why”. Your “why” is what keeps you motivated. Your “why” is what keeps you going strong despite the obstacles,  despite the nos, and despite the opposition. Some people will look at you and think you are crazy for not giving up but if you do you will look at yourself crazy for doing just that. Your life is not a conversational judgement piece. Your life is what you make it. Your decisions. Don’t hinder your dreams by stepping sideways. Stay focused on what it is you want out of life. Stay focused on your “why”.
Is your dream a dream deferred?
