Summer in the Workplace

During the summer, the kids are out and get to wear clothes out of dress code but there’s still work to be done for you!

It can be hard to get into the summer fashion trends in the workplace. You don’t want to show too much skin but you also don’t want to be too hot in the process. Here are a few tips that can help to include fashion trends into your work wardrobe for summer.

1.Pick only one trendy bold piece a day.

– You don’t need to go overboard with fashion trends while in the workplace.

-Adding a neutral top, bottom or shoe to the bold piece will bring down the volume a little making it appropriate for work.

Here’s an example of that using the floral trend:

 2. Roll up your sleeves & add a bold necklace!

– You don’t have to walk around like a nun, roll up your long sleeve shirts!

-Adding a necklace to those boring button downs will be sure to make a statement by the water cooler.

3.Add color to your work wardrobe!

-Buy some nice colorful tops

-Consider colored suits! Lots of people are rocking the colored pant suits

Here’s Lauren London in a nice Red Pants suit.

4. Don’t be afraid to let your shoes make the noise.

-Try a patterned shoe with your work outfit
