Monday Motivation: Weekly Challenge

Uneku Atawodi is part of a wave of growing interest in polo in Nigeria

Each new week, I accept whatever failures or disappointments I had to deal with the past week in order to move on. Sometimes, I literally cannot accept them until Sunday, because I am just that disappointed. My spirit is just that broken, but I have to remember to look at the bigger picture. It would be too easy to sit and dwell on what has gone wrong. That is the safe way. It is not easy to get back up and onto a horse that has thrown you off.

This is why you may actually see me online cheery and positive on Monday morning, by Thursday, I’m simply clicking Like, or I may be MIA. Sometimes something has gone wrong, sometimes nothing has gone wrong, but I need to be recharged. I am tired, but by Sunday, I am ready to dream again.

Plenty of people dream, but if they do not get up and formulate those dreams into plans, and then those plans into action, then nothing becomes of them. Those thoughts remain  just that thoughts. Meanwhile, you may actually be attracting the tools you need to materialize those dreams and thoughts into your goals, but you are not prepared for these tools and accessories, therefore, you do not recognize their potential. You cannot see where they fit into the puzzle.

Today is Monday. I dare you to take another chance and pursue what your heart is truly desiring. I challenge you to sit and write out your dreams and then organize them into steps for actions. Do you accept this weekly challenge?
