Today’s Wonder Woman, Krystal Meredith- Justice, is moving up in a field usually dominated amongst men, or at least in our local southern region anyway. Justice is the CEO of Knowledge Masters LLC (KMNOLA). Though born in Los Angeles, Justice moved to New Orleans and attended school there. She credits much of her success to interning in high school with one of the top realtors in the city, where she was soon offered a paid position with the company.
Knowledge Masters is a consulting firm that assists with everything from travel and hospitality to entertainment to public relations and marketing. “KMNOLA is excited about its new projects in 2014! Although the scope of work remains the same as previous years, our focus has become more streamlined within the fields of music, entertainment, travel and fashion industries. We’re underway with All Star events in NOLA, SXSW in Austin, followed by our bi-annual Core DJ conference in Miami in April. We are in full swing and excited!” Justice says. Inspired by her dad, Justice also gives back to the community with another one of her initiatives, I.M.P.A.C.T. Experience. IMPACT stands for Individuals Making Progress Across Celebrity Thresholds. They give back during major events like Super Bowl, Essence, All Star, etc. Home Mission Incorporated though is a personal, 501c3 organization that focuses on the needs of homeless, underprivileged individuals.
“Along with the usual or common struggles of a young entrepreneur, being an African American female brings along a whole new set of challenges. Gaining respect in a dominant male industry is hard work. I rely on my faith and belief in God to help see me through,” Justice explains.
As stated before KMNOLA will be taking part in All Star weekend this week. When asked what to expect Justice says, “I am working along side Cliffhanger Productions on a star studded weekend of events! Our line-up is CRAZY to include Rick Ross, T.I. Miguel, Yo Gotti, Elle Varner, Lil Duval and more. All of the events are happening at The Howlin Wolf in Downtown New Orleans.”
